In Jack Mariano we describe an individual who we first observed as a "very nice guy," one with a passion to do what is in the best interest of the citizens of Pasco County.

Mariano works night and day to see that the citizens of Pasco County are delivered quality services, while noting the economic impact those services would have on the average citizen. Mariano should know, he possess a B.A. degree in Economics. Mariano illustrated for us many new ideas he originated at commission meetings which were subsequently passed on votes of the other commissioners.

Mariano has been working hard on the need to attract more businesses to Pasco County. Businesses pay more in taxes than they use in services, he said, and having more local employers would provide more jobs to Pasco citizens and therefore reduce the flow of commuters on Pasco roads.

JACK MARIANO is married with two daughters. Mariano earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Framingham State College near Boston. He has sponsored numerous charitable golf tournaments to benefit medical research, youth athletics and other causes. He serves on the board and in stage productions of Richey Suncoast Theater and serves on the board of Dayspring Academy.
